The Curved EASYboard Deluxe was designed following direct feedback from both health care professionals and end users. It is an ergonomically designed, hi-performance product that meets the needs of most people in most transfer situations. The board's unique shape is particularly suitable for self use for seated transfers by bridging a small gap, between wheelchair and bed or wheelchair to toilet, etc.

This board is constructed with a silver based antimicrobial agent incorporated into its structure during manufacturing. It provides a permanent defence against the surface growth of harmful organisms, including among others, Clostridium Difficile (C Diff) & Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA). Both top and bottom surfaces can easily be wiped clean. The underside ribs have large radius and tapers to prevent dirt entrapment. Disinfectants or alcohol solutions (up to 75%) can be used. The board can also be cleaned in autoclaves (up to 85°C).

The GlideFin is an ultra low friction glide sheet material that is designed to provide a smooth, extremely easy sliding movement across the Curved EASYboard Deluxe.

It can be attached and removed from the board in seconds and is fastened to the board using an elasticized non slip material. Fastening the ergonomically designed fin to the board enhances the smoothness of a transfer and, unlike using an unattached separate glide sheet, the attached fin reduces the risk of injury. The GlideFin is particularly useful when the person's bare skin is exposed as this usually makes movement across a transfer board difficult.
